WATER BAPTISM

WATER BAPTISM

Sunday, September 13 - 13 Sunday 2026
Hope Christian Church

Baptism is not just a symbolic act showing obedience to scripture; it is a powerful declaration of your spiritual rebirth in Christ Jesus. Candidates should arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled service. We will have attendants to assist you. On Baptism Sunday, gather in Pastors office before service for prayer. Baptism Attire: Come in your regular church clothes, which you will change in the restroom. What will I be asked to bring? Bring a bathing suit, covered with a t-shirt/(women) modest shorts/pants that can get wet. Bring a towel (and water shoes). There are facilities to change your clothes at the church Necessary toiletries, for grooming. *Optional: Bring a folded, white handkerchief, which will be used to cover your nose and mouth during baptism. What will I be asked to do? Come prepare to share a short testimony of WHY you wish to be baptized. This is your opportunity to declare your salvation experience in a brief few sentences. Or select a meaningful Scripture verse to quote to the church before you are immersed. You may write the verse on a card and read it. Invite family and friends to join you in celebrating your commitment to Christ

Flags of Fellowship

Flags of Fellowship

Sunday, October 4 - 4 Sunday 2026
Hope Christian Church

On October 7, 2023, Israel was plunged into violence and war—an ongoing reality the Israeli people continue to face. In the year that followed, friends of Israel came together in sorrow, solidarity, and support—raising Flags of Fellowship to honor the 1,200 lives lost on that dark day. Flags of Fellowship is a growing movement of people who love Israel. Churches, synagogues, colleges, and faith leaders are uniting in prayer and action for God's Chosen People, with more than 1,300 churches and synagogues standing for Israel. Now, in 2026, you can be part of this movement. By lifting a flag in prayer and solidarity, you show the Jewish people in Israel and around the world that Christians in America stand with them—helping save lives, provide hope, and witness God's promises unfolding in our time. “Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!” Psalm 25:22
